Selah was born from family, care, and my desire as a mother to create something gentle enough for the people I love. I was born in Manila, Philippines, and shaped by many cultures. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for connection, intentional living, and thoughtful care—values that continue to influence everything I create.
With a Master’s degree in Human Services and more than two decades of experience as a wife and mother, much of my life has centered around helping people feel seen, supported, and valued.
My journey into natural skincare began with a birthday gift from my husband—a soapmaking class that unexpectedly opened the door to a new passion. At the same time, I was searching for a gentle solution for my daughter’s sensitive skin. What began as a mother’s concern soon became the heart of Selah.
Under the guidance of a retired chemistry professor, I learned to blend the art and science of skincare with care and integrity. Today, I create premium natural care for sensitive to mature skin, designed to turn everyday routines into intentional moments of care.
The Selah Experience
As Selah grew, I realized that my love for creating meaningful experiences extended beyond natural care.
I have always loved bringing people together, creating beautiful spaces, and paying attention to the small details that make people feel special. That passion became Selahbrations.
Selahbrations is my approach to intimate events and elevated event styling. I collaborate with each client to understand their vision and then thoughtfully curate the details that bring it to life—from balloon artistry and beautiful backdrops to draping, tablescapes, personalized details, and finishing touches.
But for me, Selahbrations is about more than decorating a room.
It is about creating an atmosphere.
I want my clients to walk into their celebration, see their vision brought to life, exhale, and enjoy the people and moments that matter most. Instead of spending the celebration worrying about every detail, they can pause and be present while I take care of creating the experience around them.
Whether it is an intimate birthday, bridal or baby shower, anniversary, engagement, dinner, brunch, milestone celebration, or special gathering, each Selahbration is intentionally styled rather than simply decorated.
